New York meteorologist fired after saying racial slur on air



WHEC meteorologist Jeremy Kappell was fired after it appeared he used a racial slur during his forecast. During a weather forecast on Friday which showed a live shot of the city’s Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, Jeremy Kappell appeared to refer to it as “Martin Luther Coon King Jr. Park.”

    For everyone wondering, he said "Martin Luther coon Jr" if you're wondering what he means by that is he is calling him a coon because he is black. A normal person just doesn't have a word slip outta their mouth that they've never said before.

    Actions speak louder than words.

    Racism is when you deliberately bully and degrade someone due to their race….. He just used a word that was trending via word of mouth and someone took it to the max to assume racism….

    Every racist people should be fire immediately as a lesson that we, the American and all decent people, will not stand any form of racism, homophobia, sexism and other types of discrimination that separate us.
